Dreaming of a world without bullies. Wear pajamas on Wednesday. Students should wear regular shoes. No toys.
Team up against bullying. Wear red and black on Tuesday.
Sock it to bullying! Monday is crazy sock day.

Our shoe tying challenge begins Monday, September 15th where students practice this self-help skill at home and demonstrate their success to their teacher(s)! Once they mastered shoe tying, they will get to proudly sign the classroom shoe poster.
Around age 5, children’s fine motor skills and hand coordination develop enough to tackle shoe tying. This milestone builds finger dexterity, bilateral coordination, hand-eye coordination and sequential thinking as they follow the step-by-step process. Mastering shoe tying boosts independence and confidence while strengthening the same small muscle control needed for writing and cutting with scissors.

Paws & Play
The preschool staff is ready and excited for a great year with our littlest wildcats. Preschool begins Monday, August 18th.
NPS families are welcome to come to school on Saturday, August 23rd from 11am - 1pm . Come meet other NPS families and enjoy lunch together. Thank you Newport City Church of God for sponsoring the meal.
Kindergarten Orientation and Open House is Monday, August 11th from 4 - 6 PM.
